CHRIS & LAUREN | The Lodge at Cathedral Pines Wedding

{Two things…}

1.) Have you even been to The Lodge at Cathedral Pines? It is a beautiful quaint lodge with gorgeous sun kissed lighting. You may recognize the location (and lighting) from this post last week? It is surrounded by open fields, beautiful pine trees, and a great little ponds that make for some beautiful pictures.

2.) Do you have a wedding coordinator? If you don’t already have one, you need one! And not just anyone, this one. Danielle Odil of Something Classic Event. I had the pleasure of working with Danielle on Lauren and Chris’s wedding day and let me say, she. is. FANTASTIC. If you have even debated on hiring a coordinator for one second, give Danielle a call!

Okay! Back to the wedding… Of course, it makes my job really easy when the bride is a beauty on her own.

I have to say, I am a huge fan of Lauren’s  pup! Her name is Evol, love backwards. How great is that. 🙂

See what I mean by the amazing lighting? There is nothing prettier than a backlit bride with her papa.

Lauren and Chris wrote their own vows to each other and they were b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l. Even I had a hard time keeping a dry eye.

Time for some yummy lighting!

We caught the last ray of sunshine just perfectly here. Love it.

Mmmm. Love is so amazing.

Just a few fun details…

And ending this post with some first dances.

Lauren and Chris, it was my pleasure to share in your day. It was a beautifully quaint evening. Thank you!

JEFF & ALEX | The Golden Hotel Wedding

Happy Monday to all! I am following up this morning’s Spring into Love | Wedding Photography Contest post by introducing you to the ever so good looking couple, Alex and Jeff. I have been hinting (and not very quietly) that I have a lot to get caught up on in terms of blogging, and I am not kidding! Alex and Jeff were married in October. So 5 months later, here they are!

The brides always have hours and hours of getting ready for their wedding day, for the special moment of being ready to walk down the isle… The boys on other hand…

Well they have a different routine than the ladies. 🙂  Why can’t it be so easy for everyone?

One of my favorite parts of the day is getting to see everyone’s reaction to the bride coming down the isle. Its just so special.

Enter hot bridal party here…

And some romance here…

Congrats again you guys! I hope you were able to re-live a tiny part of your wedding day today.

JEREMY & AMY | The Lodge at Cathedral Pines Wedding

Although I was away from blogging for a few months, I was however still busy at work sharing in the special events of every one’s lives. I hope that you enjoy getting caught up with me as I do over the next couple of weeks or so. Maybe the beautiful weather that took place during these next few wedding you will see, will seep through the pages of all of your computers and start to warm up all this Colorado chill. Or maybe just make you feel warm and fuzzy…? Although today was a beautiful day from where I am sitting! Speaking of warm and beautiful…

Introducing, new to the blog… Amy and Jeremy.

This picture sums up their day perfectly. Simple. Romantic. Stunning.

I love how Amy and her mom had almost the same reaction coming back down the isle.

Time for some portraits. How amazing are they?! Seriously!!

When you catch the timing just right, Colorado has such a beautiful sunset and twilight.

Hello hotness!!

Amy and Jeremy had the shortest ceremony known to man that day. It was short, sweet, simple, and just perfect.  I had such a wonderful time getting to know their friends and family. Thank you to everyone who made their day so special. And Val… You’re next. Come call me when you are ready. 🙂

Becky Young - Beautiful! Looks like you had some gorgeous light!
